Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide clinical services in-person or via telehealth as appropriate
- Consult with other providers and supply timely written reports on examination results
- Perform patient care duties according to the schedule determined by the specialty and site of care
- Assist with coverage coordination if unable to perform scheduled duties
- Engage in professional collaboration with all healthcare team members
- Maintain volume of care as defined by specialty and site standards
- Contribute to process improvement activities
- Adhere to professional expectations and institutional policies and procedures
- Foster a psychologically safe workplace and promote teamwork and mutual respect
- Work towards established goals in accordance with applicable processes
- Participate in call coverage, including holiday call, as required
- Provide emergency/on-call coverage as required by the primary hospital campus
- Ensure appropriate coverage for patient admissions and care
- Be immediately available by phone and on-site while on call, according to protocols
- Be available for after-hours calls from established patients and healthcare providers on a rotation determined by the clinic
Additional Information
- Active medical licensure in Montana required or eligibility to obtain
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification and DEA Registration for schedules II-V required
- Completion of accredited graduate medical education in the specialty
- ABMS or equivalent AOA Board Certification in Mammography preferred
