Position Overview
We are seeking a flexible and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to support both Medical-Surgical and Emergency Department units based on departmental needs. This role requires adaptability, strong clinical skills, and a collaborative mindset to provide safe, high-quality patient care across multiple care settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in Med/Surg or Emergency Room settings as assigned
- Perform patient assessments, monitor conditions, and implement appropriate interventions
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the designated EMR system
- Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and professional nursing standards
- Maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism at all times
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Active and unrestricted California RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPR certifications
- TNCC certification required within one year of hire
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff at all organizational levels
Additional Requirements
- Must wear Caribbean Blue scrubs as required for all nursing staff
- Completion of annual Sexual Harassment Prevention Training with certificate of completion required prior to start
- Training must comply with applicable state requirements for temporary and registry staff
