What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or access.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas within the location to help to deter suspicious behavior and maintain a secure environment.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal policies.
• Collaborate with site personnel and local law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns or incidents.
• Perform access control duties, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering restricted areas within the utilities location.
• Remain alert and attentive throughout the shift, ready to respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or requests for assistance.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A valid concealed carry weapons permit is required.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
