ChristianaCare is recruiting for a per diem Speech Language Pathologist to work a minimum of two weekend days per month. May pick up additional weekday or weekend shifts as available.
In this position, you will assess and treat adults with communication and swallowing disorders in the inpatient rehabilitation setting. With an emphasis on patient-family centered care, we specialize in a variety of services with a dynamic interdisciplinary/trans-disciplinary team approach.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment programs to include family specific goals and time frames
- Provide patient and family education and training
Education and experience requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CF Certification
- CPR Certification
