Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Burn ICU position, requiring at least 2 years of ICU experience and current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the Burn Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Work in a hospital setting with burn patient population
- Night shift from 19:00 to 07:30
- 13-week contract assignment
- Use Cerner EMR for patient documentation
- Scrub color is ceil blue
- Provide specialized critical care to burn patients in the ICU
- All Ascension positions are offered automatically upon meeting requirements
- Local candidates are accepted but at a reduced rate based on facility radius rules
- Covid vaccination is not required
- Candidates should only apply to one Ascension position system wide at a time
- Ceil blue scrubs are required for this assignment
Requirements
- Active RN license with Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Minimum 2 years recent ICU nursing experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification highly preferred
- MOAB or CPI De-Escalation Course with Managing Physical Confrontations (8 Hours) preferred
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
- Copy of driver’s license required
- License/certificate primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Two professional references required
