Summary- Job Type: Locums
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM
- Duration: 6 months
- Start: Up to 30 days from acceptance due to credentialing process
Job Responsibilities- Conduct thorough forensic assessments, including pretrial mental evaluations, competency restoration examinations, sexually violent predator evaluations, risk assessments for patients charged with a sex offense, and conditional release assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans specifying the type, frequency, intensity, and duration of therapy
- Treat and counsel clients using a variety of treatment methods to assist in behavior modification
- Write detailed reports on clients and evaluate the effectiveness of counseling or other treatments, modifying plans and diagnoses as necessary
Qualifications- Licensed professional in the field of behavioral health
- Experience in conducting forensic assessments and clinical duties
- Strong understanding of various treatment methods and behavior modification techniques
- Excellent report writing and evaluation skills
- Ability to manage a patient volume of 10-15 patients per day
Requirements- Must be licensed in the states of Missouri
- DEA full authorization (active)
- BLS Certification
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, though the specific system is unknown
- Psychiatric forensic experience or CFE for the Department of Health
