High-volume inpatient gastroenterology locum with 24-hour call and APP support on weekdays. Locum BC Gastroenterologist; 7a–7a shifts (24‑hr call) covering inpatient consults, rounding and procedures near Columbia, SC; permanent/locum assignment with open dates 12/22–12/26, 2025; Epic EMR. - SC medical license
- SC controlled substance registration and DEA
- Board Certified/Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Comfortable with high consult volumes (15–20/day) and inpatient procedures
- Experience using Epic

Locum BC Gastroenterologist assignment in South Carolina ? 1 hour from Columbia
2025 Open Dates: (all shifts will be 7a-7a)
12/22 - 12/26
- The expectation is 24-hour call for week and weekend coverage, which will include 8?10-hour shifts daily of seeing new consults, rounding, and performing inpatient procedures.
- For the weekday coverage, we will have an APP available to help from 8-5, Mon-Thursday and 8-2 on Friday.
- The APP will work together with the Locum (not instead of the locum) to provide inpatient coverage.
- As far as volumes go during the week, we could have anywhere from 15-20 new consults daily and a hand full of inpatient procedures each day.
- There will not be any APP support on the weekend.
- The volume tends to lighten up on the weekend as far as new consults are concerned and Endo lab is not open on the weekend so any procedures that must be done will have to be done in the OR.
