Seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN to support a fast-paced adult Level Emergency Department in Rochester, NY. Ideal candidates will have strong clinical competency, critical care decision-making, emergency trauma exposure, and proficiency with EPIC charting. Must be comfortable managing diverse patient populations, including trauma, neurologic, cardiac, respiratory, and pediatric cases.
Scheduling & Facility DetailsShift: 7p–7a (3x12)
Weekends: Every other
Holiday Requirement: Available every other holiday if needed
Charting: EPIC (required)
RTO Requests: Must be submitted with profile
Call-Off Policy: Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract
First-Time Travelers: Accepted
Radius Rule:
RNs living within 75 miles are NOT accepted
Locals accepted for LPNs only
Active New York RN License (No pending; NY is non-compact)
AHA BLS

NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
IV therapy — blood products, central line care, starting/maintaining IVs, IV vasopressors
Respiratory support — CPAP/BiPAP, ventilator management
Neuro & trauma care — strokes (CVA), neuro-trauma, spinal cord injuries, TBI
Cardiac monitoring — rhythm interpretation and dysrhythmia management
Emergency response — adult/pediatric ED, ortho trauma, gunshot wounds
Infection control & triage — isolation precautions, triage assessment
Pediatric exposure — including pediatric spinal cord injury support
