WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Medical Surgical Nurse a for a 13-week contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Waterbury, CT. Travelers can earn up to $2,200 per week for this role.
Job Function:
- Night Shift.
- 3x12.
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on the Medical-Surgical unit, monitoring vital signs and assessing overall patient condition.
Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and safety.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records while adhering to hospital policies and safety standards.
Job Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).
Current State Registered Nurse (RN) license, or willingness to obtain.
2 years of acute care experience in this specialty.
BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
ACLS certification required.
