Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist with at least 2 years of acute care experience and a valid KY or Compact license for a 13-week contract.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care setting within the Physical Therapy unit
• Day shift, 08:00-17:00, with bi-weekly orientation sessions
• Assignment is for 13 weeks with a rotation of 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next
• On-call required one time per month
• Will provide occupational therapy services primarily to acute care patients
• No local candidates accepted due to radius rule
• Travel pairs are not allowed
• Assignment confirmation required within 24 hours of accepting an offer
• RTO must be clearly indicated prior to assignment

Requirements

• KY Occupational Therapist (OT) license or Compact license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of acute care OT experience
• Current BLS certification (AHA only)
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility for consideration
• Driver’s license required for consideration
• Two professional references required
