Our client, a leading organization in the White Plains, NY area, is seeking a dedicated and proactive Customer Service / Order Entry professional to join their team. As a vital member of the Counter Sales Department, you will play a key role in supporting daily operations, ensuring excellent customer interactions, and maintaining smooth administrative processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a positive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Customer Service / Order Entry
Location: White Plains, NY
Pay Range: $20.00
Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm, alternating Saturdays 7:00am - 12:00pm
What's the Job?
- Answer and direct all incoming phone calls, maintaining voicemail and company telephone lists.
- Serve as the first point of contact for the sales team, responding to emails and phone inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Manage office tasks such as data entry, copying, and maintaining organized filing systems.
- Assist in processing invoices and maintaining records for customers and vendors.
- Support branch training activities, including enrolling students, coordinating logistics, and ensuring smooth execution of training sessions.
What's Needed?
- One-day training will be provided at our New Jersey location prior to starting the role.
- High School Diploma or equivalent certificate.
- At least two year of office support experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Strong organizational and clerical skills, including data entry and filing.
- Excellent telephone skills and professional demeanor in person, online, and via phone.
