Job Title: Locums Pediatrician
Location: Hyattsville, MD
Description: We are seeking a Pediatrician for a locum tenens position in a well-established outpatient pediatric practice. Full-time and part-time positions are available, with start dates in July/August.
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatrician
- Current Maryland License
- Clean Databank
- No significant malpractice history
Practice Details:
- Flexible full-time or part-time schedules
- Supported by a seasoned staff of 8, with most having over 10 years of experience
- Staff handles various tasks including strep testing
Location:
- The practice is situated in a Maryland suburb of Washington, DC
Office Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM (closed 1 hour for lunch)
- Friday: 7:30 AM - 12:00 PM
Other Details:
- Outpatient only
- Paper charts available, with EMR implemented
- Prescription stamps and E-prescribing utilized
- Patient Census: 25-30 patients per day per provider
- Walk-ins: 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM
- Scheduled Appointments: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
