Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and RCIS or ARRT and CA license required.
Responsibilities
- Position is in a hospital cath lab setting
- Performs procedures including coronary angiograms with PCI, pacemaker insertions, and peripheral aortograms
- Works with a combination of scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring roles
- Schedules available as 4x10 hour shifts or 3x12 hour day shifts
- Call requirement is 8-12 call shifts per month plus one weekend of call per month
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Patient population includes adult cardiac patients
- Complete e-learning modules during orientation, with hours varying by specialty
- Only one holiday time off request will be approved during the contract
- Must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of contract acceptance
- References from two supervisors within the past two years are required for consideration
- Work involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary cath lab team
- Participation in call rotation is required
Requirements
- RCIS certification or ARRT with valid CA license required
- Minimum of 2 years cath lab experience required
- Must be able to scrub, circulate, and monitor interventional procedures
- BLS certification required (AHA or American Red Cross accepted)
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
- License required if applicable
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
- Returning travelers must have been gone for at least 1 year
