About the FacilityA busy hospital system is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage.

About the Clinician's WorkdayShifts are Monday through Friday with varying hours. Case types include general surgery, orthopedics, OB, gynecology, cardiology, thoracic, ENT, urology, endoscopy, neurosurgery, vascular, plastics, pediatrics, and podiatry. There are 8 MDs scheduled daily (with 1.92 on weekends, 3 post-call, and 3 on PTO) and 27.5 CRNAs daily (with 1.2 on weekends and 4.47 on PTO), totaling 33.2 CRNAs on staff. Call requirements include a 30-minute callback time, with weeknight call from 7 PM to 7 AM and 24-hour weekend shifts. Call coverage includes 1 in-house MD, 1 in-house CRNA, and 2 beeper CRNAs.
