About the Role
We are seeking passionate Behavior Technicians / RBTs to join our growing ABA team serving children and adolescents in Carroll County. Under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will provide evidence-based, assent-focused ABA services that help children build meaningful skills and reduce barriers to learning. This position delivers direct 1:1 services in homes, schools, community settings, and/or our ABA center(located in Rockville, MD).
What You’ll Do
Provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services as outlined in the individualized treatment plan.
Teach communication, social, daily living, and coping skills using high-quality, trauma-informed, and assent-based practices.
Implement behavior-support strategies safely and consistently.
Collect accurate session data and complete electronic documentation in a timely manner.
Collaborate with caregivers, school teams, and your supervising BCBA.
Participate in required supervision, training, and ongoing professional development.
Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance with IBHS regulations and agency policies.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following:
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (preferred); or
BCaBA ; or
High school diploma and completion of a 40-hour RBT Task List training;
Additional Requirements:
High school diploma or higher.
Reliable transportation for travel between service locations—willingness to travel up to 45 minutes.
Ability to meet the physical demands of working in dynamic environments.
Strong communication skills and comfort working with children and families.
