- Director, Bronchoscopic Lung Volume Reduction (BLVR) Program Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of interventional pulmonary procedures, including: - Advanced bronchoscopy (navigation, robotic, EBUS-TBNA) - Pleural disease management - BLVR with FDA-approved technologies
- Lead and expand the BLVR program (patient selection, multidisciplinary coordination, outcomes tracking)
- Provide inpatient and outpatient care in a collaborative pulmonary practice Educational Leadership
- Serve as Associate Program Director for the Interventional Pulmonology Fellowship
- Mentor fellows, residents, and medical students
- Contribute to curriculum development, simulation training, and scholarly activities
- Promote an inclusive and intellectually stimulating training environment Academic & Research Engagement
- Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives in interventional pulmonary and BLVR
- Present at national meetings and contribute to publications
- Engage in educational symposia and scholarly work Candidate Requirements
- MD or DO degree with completion of an AABIP-accredited Interventional Pulmonology fellowship
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine
- Eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching and clinical care
- Prior leadership or mentorship experience preferred
- Experience with BLVR strongly preferred; interest in program development required
