American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU position requiring 2 years of recent NICU experience and an active OK or compact RN license.
Responsibilities- Work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule consisting of 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:00
- Care for critically ill neonates requiring specialized monitoring and interventions
- Requires floating within the nursing scope and to sister facilities as needed
- Epic is used for electronic charting
- Care for premature or critically ill infants requiring advanced neonatal support
- Must be prepared to float to other departments or sister facilities based on facility needs
- Requests for block scheduling will not be accommodated
- No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted and holidays/blackout dates are restricted
- Scrub color or dress code will be provided upon assignment
- Active OK or compact RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum of 2 years of recent NICU nursing experience required
- Current BLS, NRP/NALS, and STABLE certifications are required
- No first-time travelers will be considered
- Permanent address must be greater than 75 miles from the facility
- Valid driver’s license or state-issued ID and recent utility bill with matching address required
- Submission must include copies of current certifications and two references
- Previous permanent staff must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year to be eligible
