Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Freestanding Emergency Department night shift position, requiring a VA or compact RN license and recent ER experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Freestanding Emergency Department (FSER) setting
• Night shift schedule from 7:45 PM to 8:15 AM
• 13-week assignment duration
• Adult and pediatric emergency patient population
• Provide emergency nursing care to patients of all ages presenting with varying acuity levels
• Be prepared to manage high-stress, fast-paced situations typical of emergency settings
• Must provide documentation for consideration, including application, US SSN and DOB, skills checklist, references, nursing license verification, and certification copies

Requirements

• Active VA or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent emergency department experience
• Current AHA or ARC BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or equivalent accepted for ER units
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
