Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Arrestee Transport in Largo, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor access points and authorize entry to designated areas as required by site protocols.
- Observe and report any suspicious activities, security-related hazards, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents at the location.
- Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activity and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
- Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, patrols, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Applicants must be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or possess an equivalent qualification.
- Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- Applicants must have at least two years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
