Position Summary/ Department Summary:
Nurse Practitioner, Hemodialysis

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clinical support within a busy pediatric dialysis unit providing dialysis care to both hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis patients.
  • Staff education, involvement in health care quality and improvement projects as well as having the opportunity to collaborate with a strong multidisciplinary team.
  • Working 20 hours per week: 10-hour day shifts including rotating Saturdays and holidays (rotating between 3 NPs)
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
  • Master’s of Science in Nursing
Experience:
  • 3 years of pediatric nursing experience required; dialysis experience preferred.
  • May consider new grad NP with strong dialysis and/or pediatric RN experience.
Licensure/ Certifications:
  • A current license from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse certification as a Pediatric or Family Nurse Practitioner

The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
