About the FacilityA clinic is seeking a family medicine physician associate for locum tenens coverage.
About the Facility LocationThe facility is located near the border of Canada.
About the Clinician's WorkdayThe schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with Wednesdays off. Both MDs and NP/PAs are considered, and there is no call. Providers will see 6-10 patients per day, with appointments ranging from 30 minutes to 1 hour, treating patients of all ages (youngest currently 2-3 years old). Board certification is required, and no COVID or flu vaccination is needed. Support staff includes a front desk team and a nurse, and documentation is done in Canvas EMR. The provider must be opted out of Medicare, may receive patient calls or emails with a 24-hour response requirement, has a 1.5-hour lunch that can be used for administrative work.
