American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 36-hour weekend days position with ARRT (CT) and Massachusetts CT license required.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital-based CT department utilizing GE CT scanners
- Primary work schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 07:00 to 19:30
- Assignment is 13 weeks in duration
- Adult and general patient populations are served
- Use of Epic and Visage EMR systems is required
- Rotating shift coverage may be needed as required by the department
- Perform diagnostic CT procedures following established protocols and safety guidelines
- Ensure patient safety and provide high-level customer service throughout examinations
- Accurate documentation in EMR is expected
- Must comply with influenza vaccination requirements; no medical or religious exemptions accepted
- Local candidates must reside more than 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston or will receive a rate adjustment
- Scrub attire requirements will be specified by the unit
- Parking may require public transportation or paid lots, especially at Boston locations
- First-time travelers are eligible for consideration
- Active ARRT (CT) certification required
- Massachusetts state license in Computed Tomography required—conditional licenses are not accepted; license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification from AHA required
- 1 year of recent CT technologist experience preferred but not required
- Experience with GE CT scanners preferred but not required
- Proficiency in IV and oral/GI contrast administration and emergency response required
- Effective communication and organization skills and professional demeanor are necessary
