RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed 36 or 48 hours per week (must be specified on submission)
• Weekend work required every other weekend
• No call requirements
• 13-week assignment length
• May be floated to other units depending on staffing needs
• 1 year ICU experience required (inpatient only)
• Current Missouri RN license or eligible for Missouri licensure
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only, NIHSS
• Preferred certification: TNCC
• Work in 16-bed Neurologic Intensive Care Unit with 1:2 patient ratios
• Care for neuro, trauma, and surgical patients including acute stroke, trauma, and surgical interventions
• Use EPIC EMR system
• Work with advanced equipment including bedside telemetry, ventilators, bipap/cpap, ventriculostomy's, arterial lines, central lines, arctic sun, CRRT, Zoll
• Utilize nursing process for patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Coordinate patient care with ancillary departments
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality
• Black scrubs required - no hats, non-facility jackets/sweatshirts, or air pods allowed
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1-April 1
• Physical demands include standing/walking most of shift, lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, stooping, and patient lifting with assistance
