JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active Mississippi license
• Board: Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics or American Osteopathic Board of Pediatrics within 5 years post-residency
• DEA: Active DEA Certification
• Certifications: PALS & NRP required
• Experience: Inpatient service to 24 patients within the past 24 months
• Other Qualifications: MD degree required; three peer references (one from residency director or Chief of Medicine/Pediatrics, two from PCPs familiar with applicant's work)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide inpatient pediatric care and manage hospital admissions
• Perform pediatric medical evaluations and treatment plans
• Coordinate with nursing and specialty staff as needed
• Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR and comply with hospital standards
