Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of experience to provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced emergency room environment. The ideal candidate will possess a teamwork mentality and be flexible to work across various sections within the ED.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to emergency department patients.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans in accordance with established protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Cerner system.
- Assist with triaging patients and managing behavioral health holds.
- Engage in patient and family education to enhance their experience.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a nurse, with at least 1-year experience in an ER setting.
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required prior to hire.
- ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire.
- Experience in a Level 2 trauma center or comprehensive stroke center preferred.
