Job Details:
• Work 3x12 night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Float within scope to meet facility needs as required
• 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Experience required in MS/Tele, Telemetry, Interpretation of Dysrhythmias, and Telemetry monitoring on the unit
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• Charting system: Epic
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with common medical conditions including diabetes, hypertension, CAD, ESRD, chronic respiratory illnesses, and arrhythmias
• Work with interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks (guaranteed hours policy)
• Hurricane season assignment to emergency response teams may be required June through November

The facility maintains a 30-bed Med Surg Telemetry unit with modern equipment and Epic charting system. The hospital offers extensive interdisciplinary support services and maintains high standards of patient care with specialized teams including Rapid Response Teams, comprehensive therapy services, and 24/7 support departments.
