Opportunity:

RN - Tele Float Pool

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Float throughout Zone 4 which covers a 60-mile radius from Garden City, KS
• Required to work 6-9 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule
• May be placed in holiday rotation
• Float between multiple units including General MS-Tele, Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation
• Nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5-6 based on acuity
• Must have 2 years of MS-Tele experience in the last 3 years
• Prior neuro experience preferred
• Alaris and EPIC experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS
• May be required to titrate Heparin drips
• Care for adult to geriatric population with various diagnoses including cardiac, neuro, orthopedic, oncology, renal, urology post-surgical, general surgery, gynecology, psych/detox, ENT, and general medicine patients
• Use Epic charting system
• Schedules created by leadership for 6-week periods with flexibility required
• Time off requests must be submitted prior to starting assignment
• May float to ICU (low acuity holds within skillset), PCU/Stepdown, and MS-Tele units
• Rare call or standby requirements for low census situations
