Our client, a leader in the technology manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated Technical Writer to join their team. As a Technical Writer, you will be an integral part of the Workforce Development department supporting training and documentation initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to documentation management, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Technical Writer

Location: Boise, ID

Pay Range: $35.98

Shift: Day - Mon to Fri - 8 Hours

What's the Job?

• Maintain and update technical documentation, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Manage documentation systems and support the learning management system (LMS).
• Create, edit, and archive documents, graphics, and images using appropriate standards and software.
• Support training initiatives by maintaining training records, materials, and certifications.
• Extract, analyze, and report data to support organizational decision-making processes.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in technical documentation.
• 3 years of experience supporting workforce development or training programs.
• Proficiency with advanced documentation authoring software (e.g., MadCap Flare, FrameMaker).
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and managing SharePoint libraries.
