JOB REQUIREMENTS - Licenses: Active Pennsylvania medical license required; IMLC accepted
- Board: Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- DEA: Active DEA required
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS required
- Experience: Prior inpatient gastroenterology experience preferred
- Other Qualifications: Ability to move quickly through emergency credentialing
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Provide 24-hour gastroenterology call coverage
- Perform inpatient consults and manage acute GI conditions
- Conduct emergent procedures as clinically indicated
- Collaborate with anesthesia and hospital support teams
- Document all patient encounters accurately in Cerner EMR
