• The position is for an experienced breast imager and is a position at an outstanding teaching hospital.

• This Breast Imaging Center has been recognized by the American College of Radiology as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence and performs approximately 12,000 breast imaging studies and interventional procedures annually.

• Clinical Duties and Training of Diagnostic Radiology Residents. We provide a full spectrum of breast Imaging services at academic and non-academic hospitals.

• Clinical responsibilities include all aspects of multi-modality breast imaging (digital mammography and tomosynthesis, breast US, breast MRI) and all imaging-guided interventional breast procedures

Required qualifications:

• Medical degree or equivalent, eligibility for Kentucky Medical License, and ABR certified or eligible.

• Applicants should be proficient in screening and diagnostic mammography (including tomosynthesis), ultrasound, MRI, and US, stereotactic and MRI-guided biopsies. Preferred candidates will have fellowship training in one or more additional subspecialties.

• Conference Participation. Multidisciplinary tumor boards and trauma conferences, resident case and core didactic lecture conferences; medical school lectures. Research: While optional, if interested, the desired candidate will have a strong research record of publications or other evidence of scholarly activity.
