The Assistant Restaurant Manager is responsible for staff training, managing daily operations, and ensuring excellent guest experiences in a restaurant setting. The role requires knowledge of food safety, cost control, scheduling, and liquor and wine. Candidates should have at least three years of relevant management experience and strong customer service skills.
Assistant Restaurant Manager Responsibilities Include:
- Training, development, interviewing/hiring of staff
- On the floor ensuring a smooth shift while exceeding guest expectations
- Food safety knowledge and implementation
- Ability to work with the rest of the leadership team to push the service standards above and beyond
Assistant Restaurant Manager Qualifications Include:
- 3 years experience as a restaurant manager, steakhouse experience highly desired
- High level of customer service skills with ability to listen, react, notify, and be empathetic.
- Liquor and wine knowledge is a requirement
- Knowledge of cost controls, inventories, and scheduling
