Position Summary:

The ideal candidate should possess extensive expertise in software asset, contract, and software catalog management, with the ability to advance related processes. Responsibilities include defining requirements, contributing to solution designs, validating builds, and providing subject matter expert support for production processes within the ServiceNow ITAM platform. This role serves as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring alignment and mutual understanding of objectives. The candidate will also represent requestors to prioritize key initiatives and ensure that all software contracts, models, and allocations are accurately documented in the system of record, with clear ownership and traceability.

This position reports to the Enterprise Platforms Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads improvement recommendations and presents effectively to senior and executive management and global teams.

  • Presents and leads client meetings with the business and development teams. Communicates with senior leaders, stakeholders, and clients for understanding and execution of cross functional complex processes and applications to solve for client requirements.

  • Provides recommendations for appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems.

  • Partners with business teams to develop ways to investigate business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.

  • Leads and serves as a senior resource on cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions.

  • Serves as a resource to colleagues, mentors and helps improve the team’s abilities around all IT Asset Management (ITAM) disciplines deployed.

  • Leads the development, execution, and creation of the cross functional testing strategy communicating with all stakeholders for technology delivery.

  • Leads the planning, conducting and documenting of user stories, user feedback.

  • Supports and monitors the execution of IT Asset Management practices around Software, Contracts and Vendor procurement solution development, and delivery methodologies for improvement and collaboration.

  • Plans, executes and documents user stories and user feedback to support the development of prototypes and wireframes. Actively participates and contributes in Agile ceremonies including daily calls, iteration planning, iteration reviews, retrospectives and PI planning exercises.

  • Assists with enterprise Software Asset Management, contract renewals, operational service delivery including ensuring all required steps are performed to validate contracts, EULAs, purchase orders, entitlements, compliance, asset integrations, associated procurement progress and deployment.

  • Ensures timely completion of assigned tasks and enhancements, communicates priorities, resolves issues during the SDLC, and conducts functional testing and production validation.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems preferred, related field or equivalent experience required.

  • Five (5) or more years of relevant experience required.

  • Three (3) or more years of ServiceNow Software Asset Management and Contract Management modules highly preferred.
