Associate Trial Attorney - What You'll Do
- Represent personal injury clients in District and Superior Court throughout all stages of litigation
- Handle pleadings, discovery, arbitration, mediation, and trial preparation
- Analyze case details to assess liability, damages, and legal strategy
- Conduct depositions, manage expert collaboration, and oversee discovery
- Draft persuasive legal briefs and deliver effective courtroom arguments
- Communicate with clients throughout the litigation process with clarity and empathy
- Identify opportunities to enhance litigation workflows and increase team efficiency
Associate Trial Attorney - Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active license in good standing with the North Carolina State Bar
- 2+ years of plaintiff-side litigation experience in North Carolina
- Admission to the South Carolina Bar is a plus
- Proven ability to manage a litigation docket independently
- Strong written and verbal advocacy skills
- Client-centered approach with excellent interpersonal skills
- Courtroom confidence and strategic legal thinking
