About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Peds - Anesthesiology MD in California!

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Anesthesiologist for an 84-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting Feb 1, 2026. This opportunity requires flexibility to work all shift types, with a minimum commitment of seven days per month. The ideal candidate will be board certified in Pediatric Anesthesiology or have substantial pediatric anesthesia experience, collaborating with a dedicated team to deliver high-quality care. Proficiency with the Epic EMR system is required.

Job Details

• Location: California
• Start Date: Feb 1, 2026
• LOA: 84 days
• Provider Type Needed: Pediatric Anesthesiologist
• Schedule: All shift types; must be able to work at least 7 days per month. See attached document for shift details.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Administer anesthesia to pediatric patients undergoing surgery or other medical procedures
• Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education opportunities
• Provide guidance and support to other healthcare professionals as needed

Additional Information

• Must be licensed to practice in California
• Board certification in Pediatric Anesthesiology preferred; significant pediatric anesthesia experience required if not board certified
• Experience using Epic EMR system required
