The Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner provides advanced patient care in a collaborative, physician-led oncology program at Lexington Health Cancer Center, supporting both outpatient and inpatient services. The role involves working with multidisciplinary teams, utilizing advanced technology and clinical trial access to deliver comprehensive cancer care. Candidates must be certified PA or NP with oncology experience preferred and are offered extensive benefits from day one.
Lexington Health Cancer Center is seeking a Hematology & Oncology Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) to join our nationally recognized oncology program in West Columbia, South Carolina. This role offers the opportunity to practice in a collaborative, physician-led environment with strong APP integration and access to advanced technology, clinical trials, and comprehensive patient support services.
Lexington Health s Oncology program is accredited as a Cancer Center of Excellence by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer and is QOPI-certified, making it one of only a select few programs in South Carolina to achieve this distinction.
Position Highlights
- Mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient support alongside experienced hematology-oncology physicians
- Work within a robust APP team providing shared coverage and continuity of care
- Support from onsite infusion services, oncology pharmacy, lab, radiology, nurse navigators, social work, and genetic counseling
- Participation in multidisciplinary tumor conferences and collaborative care planning
- EPIC EHR for both inpatient and outpatient settings
- State-of-the-art cancer center on Lexington Health s main campus
- Onsite infusion suite, advanced imaging, and in-house dispensing pharmacy
- Partnership with Duke Cancer Network for clinical trial access
- Steady program growth with strong physician and APP retention
- Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- Eligible for South Carolina licensure
- Oncology experience preferred, but motivated candidates with strong clinical backgrounds are encouraged to apply
