Very busy Family Medicine Clinic! Monday - Friday 8 hour shifts!
Summary:
Provides direct patient care and support to multidisciplinary health team working within the scope of practice of a Nurse Practitioner (NP). Serves as a clinical expert through patient education, interdisciplinary collaboration, and consultation, while maintaining program excellence and professional growth. Responsible for developing comprehensive care plans, coordinating patient care, delivering ongoing treatment while fostering a strong patient-provider relationship. Committed to cost-effective care management, optimizing resource utilization, and enhancing patient experiences through continuous process improvement. Provides direct patient care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high-quality, evidence-based outcomes.
Requirements:
- Active and unrestricted CA licensure as Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Nurse Practitioner Furnishing (NPF) license number from the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN)
- Current board certification as NP by a nationally accredited organization in a population foci Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certificate to dispense controlled substances (II-V)
- National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Current Basic Life Support certification (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from AHA if assigned to Emergency Department (CC7012)
- Primary Care experience required.
