Position Highlights- Role: Emergency Medicine Physician
- Certification Requirements: Board-certified/board-eligible (BC/BE) via ABEM or AOBEM; ABPS EM candidates welcome
- Duration: Initial 3-month assignment with potential for extension
- Start Date: June 1, 2024
- Shifts: 24-hour physician coverage, with shift changes at 7 AM and 7 PM
Facility Features- Newly opened (March 2023) freestanding emergency department
- Approximately 23 patient visits per day, with an anticipated annual volume of 8,500 visits
- 10,000 square-foot facility with advanced amenities, including:
- Fully equipped trauma bay
- State-of-the-art imaging (CT, ultrasound, and radiology)
- 11 private treatment rooms
- Separate adult and pediatric waiting areas
- Ambulance bay for efficient EMS access
Seamless Patient CarePatients requiring inpatient admission will be transferred to a nearby hospital campus with excellent care handoffs to intensivists, hospitalists, and specialists.
