ScheduleShift: 12:45 PM - 1:15 AM. Must be available for every other weekend. Flexibility to float within all areas of the Emergency Department is required.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a teamwork mentality and the ability to coach and provide feedback in real-time. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a busy Emergency Department setting while adhering to department protocols and policies.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients.
- Participate in patient triage and monitoring.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary staff and emergency department personnel.
- Utilize advanced medical equipment and documentation systems effectively.
- Maintain a respectful and supportive environment for all patients and families.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an Emergency Room setting.
- 2 years of experience in a Level 2 trauma center or comprehensive stroke center is preferred.
- Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, and ENPC (within 90 days of hire).
