HSHS Medical Group is seeking an outpatient Family Medicine physician to join an established and very busy practice. We are able to support both J-1 and H1B visa needs at this location.
Work in a spacious clinic based on the campus of HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital in Shelbyville, Illinois . Located just 3 hours from Chicago and an hour from Champaign (home of University of Illinois.
Practice Highlights:
- Clinic hours Monday through Friday, potential to do 4 day workweeks.

- Attached to Good Shepherd Hospital. Good Shepherd is a 30-bed facility that provides emergency care, laboratory and imaging services in the Shelbyville community 24/7. The hospital features an advanced surgery department, inpatient care, rehabilitative therapy and a wide variety of outpatient services.

Pay range: $300,000-$399,406 (inclusive of family and internal med)
Education Qualifications- Clinical doctorate is required.
Experience Qualifications- Competence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients is required.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations- Licensed physician in the state of practice is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable to their specialty.
- Must have successfully completed, or in the process of completing, an accredited residency program.
- Must be board certified or board eligible.
