Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Front Desk in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution, you will be stationed at the entry point, greeting visitors and assisting employees while helping to deter security-related incidents. This armed position is crucial for maintaining a secure environment. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
- Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and managing visitor logs to help to deter unauthorized entry.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, following established protocols.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters at the front desk.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
- Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Type at least 40 words per minute.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
