Seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens position in West Virginia, providing anesthesia care across multiple hospitals. Locum Tenens CRNA needed in West Virginia! Approximately 2 hours from Logan! We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our dynamic team in West Virginia. This locum tenens position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a float pool setting, providing anesthetic care across three hospitals located within a five-minute radius of each other. The role involves delivering high-quality anesthesia services to a diverse patient population. Key Responsibilities: Provide anesthesia care for various surgical procedures including general, vascular, orthopedic, urology, plastics, dental, interventional radiology, thoracic, pediatric, neuro, cardiac, and endoscopy. Work in both inpatient and outpatient settings, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation using the Cerner EMR system. Collaborate effectively with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals. Schedule and Work Conditions: Work schedule includes standard day shifts, with options to work 5x8-hour shifts, 4x10-hour shifts, or 3x12-hour shifts. Weekends may be included, but not as a sole schedule. No on-call duties required. Commitment to a minimum of 40 hours per week. Qualifications: Current and valid CRNA certification. Active West Virginia license required. Minimum of 2 years of anesthesia experience. Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS are mandatory. Additional Information: Credentialing process takes approximately 60-90 days. All hours during orientation are billable. Vaccination guidelines for COVID-19 and flu are currently unspecified.
