Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Case Manager with oncology and case management experience, as well as a current CA RN license.
Responsibilities
- Work in an ambulatory setting focused on oncology and related diagnoses
- Monday through Friday day shift, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, 5x8 hour shifts
- No blocked scheduling or self-scheduling allowed
- Patient management and charting performed using Cerner EMR, with Cerner experience required
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
- Responsibilities include case management for oncology patients in an ambulatory setting
- Must provide at least one recent supervisory or manager reference from the most recent unit
- Return staff must have been gone for at least 1 year to be eligible to return as a traveler
- No time off is allowed within the first 2 weeks of the assignment
- First time travelers will be considered
- Professional attire is required; specific dress code details will be provided at assignment
Requirements
- Active and valid CA RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum 1 year of case management experience
- Minimum 1 year of oncology experience in an acute care setting within the past 2 years
- Current BLS certification required
- ONS Chemotherapy certification required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Must pass EKG exam within 3 attempts
