Requirements
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor?s Degree in radiological technology or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelor?s): Preferred
- Master's Degree: Preferred
- Experience in radiologic technology: Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiation Therapy (AART-T) and Certification of Therapeutic Radiology Technology (RTT): Required
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Preferred
- Fluoroscopy Permit from the state of practice, Department of Health Services: Preferred
- ARRT-Radiation Therapy (ARRT-T): Required
- Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification (TRT): Required
Description
Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
This unit provides intensive, comprehensive care and monitoring for patients with serious illness before and/or after surgery.
Requirements
Night shift, 36 or 48 hours/week, ACLS required. Need cardiovascular with open heart recovery training. Balloon pump/open heart experience needed.
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
- Acute care facility experience: Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required
