Full description
Why This Role?
This isn't just another seat at a massive conglomerate. This is a "Day 1" opportunity with a globally established, financially rock-solid leader in the semiconductor space that is aggressively scaling its U.S. headquarters.
We are currently a tight-knit team of experts, but we’re growing from 15 to 250+ people. We have the "senior gurus" and the "hungry juniors"—we are missing the "Engine." We need the 4–8+ year engineer who is ready to move past execution into architectural influence and team mentorship.
The Mission
You will be the bridge between silicon and system. As a Firmware/BIOS Specialist, you won't just be validating hardware; you’ll be writing the code that defines how DDR4 and DDR5 memory systems interact with the world’s most powerful data centers.
Architect & Execute: Balance bug-fixing and feature additions with the chance to drive the long-term firmware architecture.
Mentor: Share your DDR expertise to level up the junior engineering staff.
Innovate: Work on the cutting edge of JEDEC standards, specifically focusing on DDR5, PMIC integration, and high-speed signal integrity.
What You Bring
The Sweet Spot: 4+ years of experience in Firmware or BIOS development (UEFI/EDK II).
Hardware DNA: You understand DDR4/DDR5 memory systems (RCD, DB, PMIC) at a register level.
The Coder’s Mindset: Proficiency in C/C++ for low-level development and Python for automation.
The Leader’s Heart: You enjoy the "each one, teach one" mentality and want to help build a team from the ground up.
The Perks
Stability + Upside: Competitive base salaries that rival the industry giants, paired with a startup-style stock option plan.
Career Runway: Massive growth potential as the Johns Creek office scales toward its 250-person capacity.
Environment: A high-energy, hybrid work environment in a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility.
