Night‑shift, full‑time Postpartum Couplet Care RN in Albuquerque, NM; hospital role at Lovelace Women’s Hospital; ongoing/permanent position (standard staff RN contract). - Valid NM nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days) - Associate’s Degree or Nursing diploma (BSN preferred) - BLS within 14 days; ACLS/PALS as required - 2 years general or specialty nursing experience preferred

• Lovelace Women’s Hospital is a 53-bed advanced neonatal intensive care unit, family care unit, an award-winning breast care center, and the first robotic surgery program in the state recognized as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation.

Responsibilities:

• The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the practice of Professional Nursing, to include patient care and staff management assigned to the RN in his/her charge.
• May serve in the role of Charge Nurse and is accountable for professional practice.
• Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications:

Job Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing 
• Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire)
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• DEPARTMENT MAY ALSO REQUIRE ACLS and or PALS

Preferred Job Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• 2 years of experience in a specialty 
• 2 years of general nursing experience.
