The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) provides specialized care to high-risk newborns in a Level IV NICU, working alongside medical staff and fellows in a hospital setting. Responsibilities include attending high-risk deliveries, managing inpatient neonatal care, and collaborating with physicians during both day and night shifts. The role requires advanced clinical certification, active licensure, and skills in emergency neonatal care.

Duties: During the day, the NNPs have their own team to care for patients and attend high-risk deliveries. They also have an opportunity to work with fellows and residents. At night, they are the first call for all needs with attendants present in the house in case they need support. 24-hr faculty (MDs) and fellows will be on site, NNP will collaborate with them to provide care to the patients in NICU.

Schedule: Day and Night shifts
Requirements:
Clinical MSN or DNP, MPAS
Active California State Licensure
Active BLS and PALS (NRP in lieu of PALS if NNP)
Current National Certification as a Neonatal NP or a PA
