A Northern Maine regional tertiary care center is seeking a full-time OB/GYN physician to provide routine and high-risk obstetric and gynecologic services in a hospital-employed practice. OB/GYN Physician - Flexible Schedule Options Northern Maine medical center , a regional tertiary care center and ACS-verified Level II trauma center, is actively seeking an additional board-certified/board-eligible full-time OB/GYN to join their well-established, hospital-employed practice. New graduates and those seeking visa sponsorship are encouraged to apply. Part-time and per diem opportunities also available. The role: Work alongside 8 physicians, 2 certified nurse midwives, 2 nurse practitioners, and skilled support staff Provide routine and high-risk obstetric and gynecologic services to a patient population of approximately 500,000. We are the referral center for two-thirds of Maine and many patients travel long distances to deliver at our hospital. Strongly supported robotic surgery program with four DaVinci Xi robots The group performs approximately 1,100 of the 1,600 deliveries per year 24-hour access to Maternal Fetal Medicine consultation via phone with on-site MFM ultrasound department and 9 full-time sonographers. On-site Anesthesia and Level III NICU Their team provides consultation services for the Family Medicine residency program, and they have rotating medical students.
