Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of recent acute care experience for a day shift assignment in an acute therapy setting.

Responsibilities

• Position is within the acute therapy services department
• Work setting is acute care hospital
• Day shift schedule from 09:00 to 17:30, five days per week
• Blocked scheduling may be permitted based on facility needs
• Up to 5 days of requested time off is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
• Local candidates within 50 miles will be paid at a reduced rate
• Local staff are limited to three consecutive 13-week contracts at the same facility and must have a year break or transfer to a different facility afterwards

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in acute care physical therapy required
• Active Physical Therapist license required if applicable
• All certifications must be active with no expirations within the first 30 days unless renewal is scheduled
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required; Canadian SINs not accepted
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
