A noninvasive cardiology physician conducts comprehensive patient evaluations, diagnoses cardiovascular conditions, and prescribes treatments while maintaining clear communication with patients and families. The role involves accurate documentation, collaboration with specialty services, and participation in quality and safety initiatives. The physician must be board certified or eligible, hold a medical license, and provide patient care through various communication methods, including office visits and on-call coverage.
Shift: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM 40 hours/week
Description:
- Perform thorough patient evaluations through history, physical exam, and diagnostic studies.
Diagnose and manage cardiovascular conditions and prescribe appropriate treatment. - Clearly communicate treatment options and care plans to patients and families.
Document patient encounters accurately in the medical record for care continuity, quality, and compliance. - Collaborate with colleagues and refer to specialty services as clinically appropriate.
- Provide patient availability through office visits, phone consultations, electronic communications, and on-call coverage as outlined.
- Participate in ongoing initiatives to improve quality, safety, and patient experience.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical or osteopathic institution.
- Residency training in Cardiology with a Non-Invasive focus.
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiology. - Active Colorado medical license or IMLC.
- Current DEA registration (Colorado).
- Current BLS/ACLS (or obtained within 90 days of hire).
