A Pulmonology Physician diagnoses and treats patients with asthma, interstitial lung disease, and other respiratory conditions in an outpatient setting. They provide consultations to other healthcare professionals and participate in ongoing medical education. This role requires extensive medical training, including internal medicine residency and pulmonology fellowship, with no on-call or critical care responsibilities.
Duties: Examine, assess, diagnose and provide comprehensive medical treatment for patients with Asthma, ILD, and other lung disorders. Provide consultation services to other health care professionals. Manage patient complaint resolution. Participate in educational programs and literature review for professional development. 100% outpatient. No Call. No critical Care. Full-time. M-F, 8 am - 5 pm.
Requirements: M.D. degree in medicine, completion of 3-year residency in Internal Medicine, completion of 2 year fellowship in Pulmonology and New Mexico license to practice medicine.
